Bill Clinton Courted The LGBT Vote With A Gay One, Obama Relit The Torch! Anything For Votes!

WASHINGTON — Like other gays, George Beier and John Caner have never known a president who welcomed them as part of America. No president seemed comfortable with their concerns. None openly offered support.

But here comes Bill Clinton. Among many gays and lesbians, his inauguration is being welcomed with quiet joy – a historic watershed with a personal message of acceptance.

“The way Clinton accepts gays and works with them, he’s saying, ‘It’s OK to be who you are,’ and that’s really important,” said Beier, 29. “With Bush it was, ‘It’s OK to be who you are – if you’re like me.’ “

Beier and Caner, a gay California couple, are joining a sizable group of gays and lesbians traveling to Washington for the Inaugural. For the well- connected, there is a whirl of special parties, peaking Inauguration Night when 1,500 lesbians and gays will dance at the first-ever gay inaugural ball.

“To be honest, this is the most important single day that our community has had in many, many years,” said Gregory King of the Human Rights Campaign Fund, one of three sponsoring gay groups. “Bill Clinton has already demonstrated his willingness to include us in his administration, and his hopes for America.”

At least they hope they’re included. Gay groups are a little nervous that Clinton may be easing off from his campaign promise to allow open gays to

serve in the military. That has been hotly controversial among the military, some congressional leaders and the public.

Yet Clinton has continued to reach out. While the gay inaugural ball is not an official Clinton-sponsored event, it is not being relegated to the closet, either. It is listed along with all the other inaugural activities, King said.

George Beier and John Caner won’t be attending the sold-out ball or any event that requires a special ticket. But they don’t care. The Californians plan to shiver on the Capitol grounds with the masses, feeling patriotic, hopeful and finally included.

“Just being on the Capitol lawn and hearing what he has to say is something that I’d really like to share with George,” said Caner, 35. “Our society is so damned cynical, particularly about politics, that it’s great to be able to share in a moment of unabashed joy in our system.”

Unlike presidents before him, Clinton came of age in the first American generation where homosexuals did not generally have to hide – and where the issue of AIDS has started to unmask the breadth of the gay community.

If the AIDS virus today is spreading fastest among heterosexuals and women, gay men still are dying disproportionately. More than 170,000 Americans have died of the disease.

Clinton won Beier’s vote and those of many other gays with an emotional speech last spring. The candidate told a gay audience he was tired of the politics of divisiveness, then emotionally thanked the gay community for its efforts in fighting the AIDS epidemic, caring for the sick, promoting education and working for a cure.

“When we saw the videotape of Clinton’s speech, there were tears in people’s eyes,” Beier remembers. “They really believed, for the first time, that someone was listening to them, that somebody cared. . . . He said thank you to all the people who have been fighting AIDS. It was like, this man is finally giving recognition to this huge struggle that is going on.”

Their inclusion has continued. At Clinton’s invitation, the Lesbian and Gay Band of America will perform on Inauguration Day, and 100 panels from the AIDS memorial quilt will be part of his parade.

“On four separate occasions since 1987 we brought the entire quilt to Washington and put it on the President’s doorstep, and neither President Bush nor President Reagan visited,” said Jim Jones, a spokesman for the NAMES Project. “This time, the (incoming) President . . . has asked us to bring it into the inaugural parade. That fills us with a great deal of hope.”

Gays also talk of keeping expectations in check, knowing the inevitable letdown will come. “We’ve been disappointed before,” Jones says. But for now, like Cinderella, they are just happy to be welcome at their own inaugural ball.

Said Beier, “We’ve come out of our political closet.”

Will Hillary be next torch bearer?

ABC’s Jesus-Ridiculing Show Bringing In The Easter Season Proclaiming 10% Of Americans Are Gay!

ABC’s newest sitcom The Real O’Neals is described as “just your typical all-American, Catholic, divorcing, disgraced, law-breaking, gay family” and continues on to say their family is “a perfect mess.” It is now airing on Tuesday evenings at 8:30/7:30 p.m. CT.

The Real O’Neals mocks Christianity and insults Catholicism. One Million Moms (1MM) recognizes this show ridicules people of faith, and Christians across America are offended by it.

The Parents Television Council, which has also taken issue with the program, recently released research it conducted about the graphic content on the series, which is rated PG.

“PTC research has found that the first three episodes of ABC’s new show, ‘The Real O’Neals’ were saturated with adult content,” noted PTC.

“Children watching were exposed to either sexual dialogue or bleeped profanities on an average of once every 43 seconds — in spite of the fact that the show is rated TV-PG and airs as early as 7:30 p.m. in half the country.”

PTC President Tim Winter said in a statement that “ABC has essentially inserted explicit and adult-themed humor into a PG-rated, primetime program that is about a family, created for families.”

“Even worse, much of the sexual and expletive-laced dialogue is delivered by characters who are children. Simply put, the network is defrauding parents by rating this show as appropriate for young children,” continued Winter.

“I’d argue that most parents would not agree that the kind of content found in ‘The Real O’Neals’ is anywhere near acceptable for family audiences.”

In 2014, CBS premiered a series called “The McCarthys” involving an sports-focused family with a gay son who was an adult. The program was canceled after one season.

Catholic League President Bill Donohue seems optimistic that a similar fate may meet The Real O’Neals, arguing that the series was already failing in the ratings.

“ABC is in a jam and they know it. Even they must admit that last night’s episode of ‘The Real O’Neals’ was just plain stupid. The ratings show it: once again, it trailed the competition on CBS and NBC,” wrote Donohue.

It is almost impossible to describe the depth of depravity found in the sitcom The Real O’Neals. It is impossible to list them all, so here are a few scenes from this TV – PG – D rated show:

  • Jesus appears where only the gay son can see and talk to Him, and He is annoyed by the mom’s strict guidelines for her family.
  • The daughter steals money she is supposedly raising for charity.
  • The daughter “attempts to prove” that there is no God in a science fair project.
  • ABC network refers to this highly dysfunctional family as “the perfect Irish-Catholic family.”
  • A statue of Mary is kept above the O’Neal’s toilet to remind the boys to put the seat down.
  • The first jab at Jesus comes only 52 seconds into the first episode.
  • The mother encourages her 16-year-old gay son to “try sex” with a girl.
  • Vulgar language.
  • The mom makes pancakes shaped like the face of Jesus to guilt trip her anorexic son into eating.
  • One of the show’s producers is anti-Christian bigot Dan Savage, and the show is said to be loosely based on his life.
  • The most recent episode claims that 10% of Americans are gay. Maybe in Hollywood!

Ted Cruz Owes Donald Trump an Apology, and an Answer To Us!

Senator Ted Cruz has stepped on a real landmine this time. His level of hypocrisy and willingness to deceive the American voter pegged out the meter.

Last year, Senator Ted Cruz appeared at the National Religious Liberties Conference in Iowa, where he courted the support of the conference’s organizer, Colorado-based pastor and radio host Kevin Swanson. Ted’s father Rafael also spoke at the conference.

Ted Cruz was embraced and introduced on the stage by Pastor Swanson, after Swanson had called for the execution of gays and many other inflammatory remarks at the very same podium earlier.

In the browsing area of the conference there were various pamphlets about death for homosexuals, from consequences for not advocating it, to the best methods of carrying out the punishment.

While Ted Cruz has never spoken out about the little get together, the campaign did much later, telling USA Today that “it was a mistake” for Cruz to have attended the conference.

Obviously they wanted to keep it all low key, Cruz did not want to lose all the “Kill All The Gays Coalition” votes that he had gained pandering to them.

Since he got his panties in such a bunch over Trump not disavowing David Duke personally and immediately, don’t you think this is a bit hypocritical?

I have enquired, but have not received an answer.

Maybe it’s time you should all demand Teddy to come forward, get out of the closet, and let’s hear if from Mr. Cruz himself, on national television, that he does not want their votes!
