The Yellowstone Supervolcano
Beneath the spectacular beauty of Yellowstone National Park lies a ticking time bomb, a supervolcano that’s overdue for its next eruption. When that day inevitably comes, it will trigger the end of civilization as we know it.
The term “supervolcano” implies an eruption of magnitude 8 on the Volcano Explosivity Index, indicating an eruption of more than 1,000 cubic kilometers (250 cubic miles) of magma. Yellowstone has had at least three such eruptions: The three eruptions, 2.1 million years ago, 1.2 million years ago and 640,000 years ago, were about 6,000, 700 and 2,500 times larger than the May 18, 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State.
Yellowstone Caldera
The last time the Yellowstone supervolcano erupted was 640,000+ years ago. The Yellowstone eruption area collapsed upon itself, creating a sunken giant crater or caldera 1,500 square miles in area. The magmatic heat powering that eruption (and two others, dating back 2.1 million years) still powers the park’s famous geysers, hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots.

Here’s the kicker, recent discoveries have shown us that Yellowstone’s magma reserves are many magnitudes greater than previously thought, say scientists from the University of Utah.
Underneath the national park’s attractions and walking paths is enough hot rock to fill the Grand Canyon nearly 14 times over. Most of it is in a newly discovered magma reservoir, which the scientists featured in a study published in the journal, ScienceMag.
It may help scientists better understand why Yellowstone’s previous eruptions were some of Earth’s largest explosions the last few million years.
In the past 2.1 million years, Yellowstone’s volcano has violently erupted three times and “blanketed parts of the North American continent with ash and debris,” according to the US Geological Survey. Statistically, Yellowstone’s active supervolcano is long overdue for a colossal eruption. According to a Discovery Channel Documentary, an eruption of this magnitude would bury North America, drape the atmosphere in a sulfur haze, dim sunlight, and plunge the world into a volcanic winter.
Recently, in July 2014, ground temperatures rose high enough to dry out geysers and boil the sap in some trees. A few inches under the surface, thermometers recorded a temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit — nearly hot enough to boil water. So, national park authorities closed Yellowstone to keep people from burning their feet — or basting their tires on melting roads.
From that time: Firehole Lake Drive, a 3-mile-plus offshoot of the park’s Grand Loop that connects the Old Faithful geyser and the Madison Junction, is currently off limits. Park operators say the danger of stepping on seemingly solid soil into severely hot water is“high.”
“It basically turned the asphalt into soup. It turned the gravel road into oatmeal,” Yellowstone spokesman Dan Hottle said. While thermal activity under the park often gives way to temperature fluctuations that can soften asphalt throughout Yellowstone, Hottle said the latest wave was much worse than usual.
In April 2o14, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake struck near the Norris Geyser Basin in the northwest section of Yellowstone, which spans 3,472 square miles of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, caused no injuries or damages and did not make any noticeable alterations to the landscape, geologists said. Though benign by seismic standards, it was the largest to rattle Yellowstone since a 4.8 quake in February 1980 and it occurred near an area of ground uplift tied to the upward movement of molten rock in the super-volcano, whose mouth, or caldera, is 50 miles long and 30 miles wide.

The biggest earthquake in 34 years, measuring 5.6 magnitude, hit Montana the morning of July 7th, 2017. The epicenter of the tremor was just 240 miles away from Yellowstone Park.
Panicked residents of Montana feared the worst when the quake struck, with concerns over the stability of the Yellowstone volcano that we are discussing here.
A spokesperson for USGS said: “The location and focal mechanism solution of this earthquake are consistent with right-lateral faulting in association with faults of the Lewis and Clark line, a prominent zone of strike-slip, dip-slip and oblique-slip faulting trending east-southeast from northern Idaho to east of Helena, Montana, southeast of this earthquake.”
Hundreds of quakes were recorded at the site, in the state of Wyoming, in just over two weeks – its most active period in five years.
The recent unprecedented earthquake swarms and other signals of activity have put scientists on high alert for a large-scale super volcanic eruption. In the following video, the scientists predict the worldwide effects of this cataclysmic eruption, which experts predict will produce energy equivalent to the detonation of 1,000 nuclear bombs.
What’s the catch to this story? Here’s where it gets not good!
The Russian president of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems outlined two key geophysically weak US regions to attack in order to combat NATO’s aggression toward Russia.
In his article, Konstantin Sivkov justifies the option of “complete destruction of the enemy” because NATO has been “moving to the borders or Russia.” He outlined two geophysically weak US regions to attack in order to combat NATO’s aggression toward Russia.
Sivkov, listed as a “Doctor of Military Sciences,” described scenarios that involved dropping a nuclear weapon near Yellowstone’s supervolcano or the San Andreas Fault.
One bomb could catalyze the eruption of this supervolcano…
“Geologists believe that the Yellowstone supervolcano could explode at any moment. There are signs of growing activity there. Therefore it suffices to say that the impact of a relatively small munition of the megaton class could initiate an eruption. The consequences will be catastrophic for the United States, a country just disappears,” he said, according to a translation by Sydney Morning Herald.
Fears have been raised Kim Jong-un is planning to fire a nuke at the volcano and San Andreas fault line, triggering an earthquake and eruption.
Experts believe the hermit kingdom now has an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of reaching the US west coast.
Interestingly as noted above, Konstantin Sivkov – an analyst from Russia which has been accused of secretly helping North Korea’s missile programme, suggested a nuclear attack on Yellowstone just two years ago.
As the United Nations dithers, Kim’s rocket scientists have developed an ICBM that can fly up to 7,000 miles – more than enough to reach Yellowstone – and an H-bomb small enough to fit on it.
America’s military might and massive nuclear arsenal could easily overwhelm North Korea – making any launch a suicide mission.
But Kim may only need to fire one missile to wipe out the US completely.
Despite few people living in the Yellowstone National Park, any “super-eruption” would still kill 90,000 people in an initial explosion.
Up to 11 cubic miles of burning magma would run across the surrounding area.
The eruption would also fire ash 25 miles into the atmosphere – blotting out the sun and causing a nuclear winter.
A 10ft blanket of ash would cover the US for 1,000 miles in all directions.
Up to two-thirds of the US would be uninhabitable and Midwest farms would be covered – almost totally stopping food production.
North Korea tested a thermonuclear weapon as powerful as 250,000 tonnes of TNT and 25 times as big as the nuke dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, at the end of World War 2 earlier this month.
In a “purely coincidental” demonstration of what it could do to Yellowstone situation, the blast at the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site – just 72 miles from the volcano Mount Paektu – set off a massive 6.3-magnitude earthquake.
Interestingly, there was a mysterious second 4.1-magnitude earthquake at the site 8.5 minutes later.
This has baffled seismologists, but it may have been the collapse of a tunnel at the underground test site, on the slopes of Mount Mantap.
The North Koreans used a concealment cavern and detonated a super bomb deep into Mount Mantap.
How much more evidence do we need of their intentions?
Seismologists speculate further that the secondary seismic event was an earthquake triggered by the test, a rock burst, which is a violent rock fracture around the many tunnels of the mountain.
IMHO, this is exactly the modus operandi I believe they are testing – a triggering of the Yellowstone supervolcano.
They are testing to determine exactly what the yield of a nuclear weapon will be necessary to disrupt the rock cap over the Yellowstone Caldera.

A group of about 20 people, armed, entered this morning at the Walmart store located on Calzada de Tlalpan, in the Benito Juárez branch, where they pillaged employees, stole items and fled.

According to FBI crime statistics, there were no murders in Newtown in 2012, despite the reports of a mass shooting claiming the lives of several schoolchildren and faculty staff. This has raised suspicions, as no murders were recorded unlike in the statistics that same year for the state of Colorado, which showed that 29 murders occurred in Aurora – accounting for the mass shooting at the Century Theatre cinema during a midnight screening of The Dark Night Rises.
Another thing is the reaction by some of the parents and others involved. The most famous being the alleged father of six-year-old victim Emilie Parker, Robbie Parker, whom when speaking to CNN the day after it was believed his daughter had been fatally shot, can be seen chuckling as he walks towards the camera but the switches into a hyperventilating and distressed character in order discuss a fundraising effort in his daughter’s memory.

One truthseeker who has gained a lot of media attention is former Florida State Trooper, ex Customs agent and education Director of Safety and Security Wolfgang Halbig, who has often been met with accusations of being a fraud, threats and stonewalling for his investigation of Sandy Hook and pledge for justice.

He is ideally qualified and experienced to investigate what many are calling a staged event. As well being a former Florida State Trooper who has investigated organised criminal gangs, he has been Director for School Safety and Security for the Seminole County Public Schools, a school district of approximately 65,000 students.He has also trained over 3,500 school police officers, school superintendents and school principals on behalf of the US Department of Justice.
The school shooting expert, who has a strong background in law enforcement and 35 years of experience in education, has been refused information under the Freedom of Information Act and was chillingly threatened by plain-clothed police officers at his own home for investigating the shooting.“I got two people coming to my door, plain clothes people – I thought they were selling something. I opened the door and they showed me their badges and they tell me they’re homicide investigators and they need to have a conversation with me.”
‘Why has the FBI classified the investigation into the shootings?’ He asks in an interview with the American Free Press. ‘This has never happened before. It is a scripted event that took place’.
So, was it real, was it a false flag, we may never know for sure. Any evidence held within the shooters home or the structure of the school itself were quickly demolished.

Filmmaker and author Dinesh D’Souza isn’t holding back with his new film “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.”
D’Souza told FOX411 his movie goes beyond just Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary is a kind of crowning pinnacle of the film, but the film is actually a kind of systematic lay out of the sorted history of Progressivism and the Democratic Party culminating in its worst exemplar, which is Hillary,” D’Souza said.
Four years ago, D’Souza made a film about President Barack Obama. He said he believes Obama “tried to achieve a vision for America” but he wouldn’t say the same of Clinton.
“Hillary has no vision for America,” he said. “Her only vision for America is that she wants to be the mob boss of America. She wants to be the female Godfather, the greatest thing since Al Capone. And she wants all the benefits that Al Capone got in Chicago; he liked to run the city; he liked to knock off his opponents.
“This is the cult of Hillary and this is what she wants. She wants to basically be the one who runs our life and calls all the shots and snubs out her opponent. I, for one, am not going to stand for it and I’m hoping most Americans won’t either.”
D’Souza came to America from India at 17, and he said Obama and Clinton jeopardize the American dream.
“I came to America because this is a country defined by ladders of opportunity,” he said. “[Obama and Clinton] are actually jeopardizing the American Dream itself and turning America into the same kind of gang run racket that many third world countries are today.”
D’Souza said he hopes both Republicans and Democrats view his film.
“What I am hoping the movie will do is reach well-meaning people in the middle, sincere Democrats who go ‘I can’t believe this,’” he said. “We have had people who have been in the movie, particularly minorities particularly Hispanics and blacks, and they say ‘Dinesh the only question I have to ask you, is this true? Because if they are true it changes everything’. And that’s the thing. The things in my book are movie are true and they cannot really be disputed and it does change everything.”

Documentarian Dinesh D’Souza analyzes the history of the Democratic Party and what he thinks are Hillary Clinton’s true motivations.
North Korea released a video showing a nuclear strike on Washington and then threatened South Korea with a “merciless military strike” for slandering leader Kim Jong-Un.
Pyongyang has been ramping up the bellicose rhetoric and propaganda for weeks, since the launch of annual South Korea-U.S .war games that it views as provocative rehearsals for invasion.
Seoul and Washington made the already large-scale joint drills bigger than ever this year in response to the North’s nuclear test in January and long-range rocket launch a month later.
Menacingly titled “Last Chance”, the video released on Saturday shows a submarine-launched nuclear missile laying waste to Washington and concludes with the U.S. flag in flames.
The four-minute video romps through the history of U.S.-Korean relations and ends with a digitally manipulated sequence showing a missile surging through clouds, swerving back to Earth and slamming down in front of Washington’s Lincoln Memorial.
The U.S. Capitol building explodes in the impact and a message flashes up on the screen in Korean: “If U.S. imperialists budge an inch toward us, we will immediately hit them with nuclear (weapons).”
The North has issued similar videos in the past, including one in 2013 showing the White House in a sniper’s crosshairs and the Capitol building exploding in a fireball.
The latest offering was published on the North’s propaganda website DPRK Today and shows images from the Korean War, the capture of U.S. spy ship Pueblo in 1968 and the first crisis over North Korea’s nuclear program in the early 1990s.
North Korea has been pushing to acquire a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) capability which would take its nuclear strike threat to a new level, allowing deployment far beyond the Korean peninsula and the potential to retaliate in the event of a nuclear attack.
It has conducted a number of what it says were successful tests of an SLBM, but experts have questioned the claim, suggesting Pyongyang had gone little further than a “pop-up” test from a submerged platform.
That is partly due to the nuclear test and the UN sanctions that followed, but also because of the first-time inclusion in the drills of an operation that envisages strikes to “decapitate” North Korea’s top leadership.
Pyongyang has taken that as a direct threat to leader Kim Jong-Un and responded with increasingly abusive personal attacks on South Korean President Park Geun-Hye.
On Thursday, Kim presided over a huge, long-range artillery drill simulating a strike on Park’s office and official residence in Seoul.
And on Saturday, the artillery section of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) issued an “ultimatum” demanding Park apologize and punish those who formulated the decapitation strategy.
“If matchless traitor Park Geun-Hye and her group do not respond … the long-range artillery force of the KPA large combined unit on the front will move over to merciless military action,” it said in a statement carried by the North’s official KCNA news agency.
The warning came hours after KCNA published a statement by the North’s “reconciliation council” that referred to Park as “dog-like”, “chicken-like” and a “dirty old woman” who grants sexual favors to the leaders of South Korea’s allies.
The insults have multiplied as Park has hardened her stance with the North in recent months, accusing Kim of leading his country along a path of self-destruction and vowing harsh retaliation to any military provocations.
South Korean activists on Saturday launched three balloons carrying tens of thousands of anti-Pyongyang leaflets across the border into North Korea.
One balloon was strung with a large banner printed with a Pyongyang-published picture of Kim Jong-Un smiling against the backdrop of a missile being assembled.
“Bring down a firestorm on nuclear maniac Kim Jong-Un,” read the slogan.
On January 27th of this year The New York Times published a scathing editorial, cleverly disguised as a “news article”, trashing Trump for saying that something was rotten in Brussels.
The NYT, and the offended countries should now admit that they should have taken Donald’s warning seriously, not as a insult to their egos.
Today, they paid the price.

Now Donald J. Trump has upset the already beleaguered people of Belgium, calling its capital, Brussels, “a hellhole.”
Asked by the Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo about the feasibility of his proposal to bar foreign Muslims from entering the United States, Mr. Trump argued that Belgium and France had been blighted by the failure of Muslims in these countries to integrate.
“There is something going on, Maria,” he said. “Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that — you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on.”
Warming to his theme, he added that Brussels was in a particularly dire state. “You go to Brussels — I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful — it’s like living in a hellhole right now,” Mr. Trump continued.
For Belgians, already reeling from recent terrorist plots and a chronically dysfunctional government, Mr. Trump’s words were enough to induce a fit of pique worthy, in some cases, of Mr. Trump himself.
Before long, the hashtag #hellhole was gaining traction on Twitter as Belgians lashed out at Mr. Trump, deploying an arsenal of insults, irony and humor, including images of Belgium’s beloved beer and chocolate.
One Twitter user posted a picture of Mr. Trump with what appeared to be a Belgian waffle stuffed in his mouth.
“This is my hellhole,” Joseph Lemaire, a Brussels-based public relations consultant, posted on Twitter, along with several photos, including one showing the capital’s central square, the Grand Place or Grote Markt, which is flanked by stately 17th-century buildings from the city’s prosperous mercantile days.
Another Twitter user, called BerlayCat, posted an image of a gang of cats playing the drums in the Grand Place. “This is not Brussels hellhole,” the user wrote — a reference to “This Is Not a Pipe,” the title of a painting by the Belgian Surrealist master René Magritte.
A Twitter user using the name Berlaymonster (Berlaymont is the headquarters complex of the European Commission in Brussels) posted what appeared to be a modified version of the Wikipedia entry for Dante’s “Inferno.” The list of chapters showed Limbo, Lust and Gluttony. The fourth chapter? Brussels.

Belgium has come under scrutiny for failing to tame growing radicalization. Éric Zemmour, a French writer, recently suggested in an interview that rather than bombing the Islamic State’s self-declared capital of Raqqa, Syria, France should bomb Molenbeek, the working-class district in Brussels where several of the Paris attackers lived.
Most Belgian officials reacted with quiet defiance. “We don’t react to Mr. Trump’s comments,” the office of Mayor Yvan Mayeur of Brussels said in an email. “Have a nice day.”
Rudi Vervoort, the president of the Brussels region, said through his spokeswoman that he was surprised by Mr. Trump’s words. “We can reassure the Americans that Brussels is a multicultural city where it is good to live,” said the spokeswoman, Leonôr da Silva, listing the city’s virtues: green spaces, a tolerant culture and its central place in Europe.

Jean-Philippe Schreiber, a historian at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, said Mr. Trump was stirring up xenophobia. Brussels has its problems, he added, but Mr. Trump’s “hyperbolic” comments were not worthy of a response.
Indeed, Belgians could be forgiven for their sense of wounded pride. First, there is the beer, the galaxy of Michelin starred-restaurants, and a thriving design and art scene. Brussels also hosts its beloved Manneken Pis, a 17th-century bronze statue of a little boy urinating.
Channeling Mr. Trump’s provocative swagger, Mark Meirsman, a Belgian who works for the European Parliament, but who emphasized that he was writing in his personal capacity, wrote on Facebook that Mr. Trump should stand next to the Manneken Pis the next time he finds himself in Brussels (though not, Mr. Meirsman stressed, as president).
“Thank you for insulting the population of an entire European city. My city!” Mr. Meirsman wrote. “O.K., maybe it’s not the cleanest one, the best organized one but a hellhole?”
In an unexpected move, the FBI released video Thursday of state police officers fatally shooting one of the armed Oregon protesters who took over a remote wildlife refuge as a sign of protest against government land-grabbing and over-reaching.
Robert “LaVoy” Finicum, 56, died Tuesday during the arrest of occupation ringleader Ammon Bundy and four others during a traffic stop near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. His death was captured on video taken from an FBI plane that shot footage as Finicum, driving a white truck, was pursued and ultimately confronted and killed by Oregon State Police officers.
“I want to caution you that the video does show the shooting death of LaVoy Finicum,” said Greg Bretzing, the special agent in charge of the FBI field office in Portland. “We realize that viewing that piece of the video will be upsetting to some people, but we feel that it is necessary to show the whole thing unedited in the interest of transparency.”
This is a shortened and edited version of FBI footage showing the joint FBI and Oregon State Police traffic stop and OSP officer-involved shooting of Robert “LaVoy” Finicum on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
You’ll note that Finicum was shot by an Oregon State Police Trooper at relatively close range as he appeared to be reaching into his coat in a manner consistent with attempting to draw a handgun.
Flash bangs were then deployed in an effort to get the other occupants of the vehicle to surrender.
Bretzing said Finicum eventually pulled the truck over and was ordered by officers to surrender.
“Finicum leaves the truck and steps through the snow,” Bretzing said. “Agents and troopers on scene had information that Finicum and others would be armed. On at least two occasions, Finicum reaches his right hand toward a pocket on the left inside portion of his jacket. He did have a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in that pocket. At this time, OSP troopers shot Finicum.”
FBI agents are not generally equipped with body cameras, but video of the incident involving Finicum was captured by the FBI plane. The footage at times is obscured by trees but at one point, Finicum can be seen reaching toward his jacket pocket.
The FBI said agents and troopers found three other loaded weapons inside the truck: two .223 caliber semi-automatic rifles and a .38 special revolver.
The U.S. issued 680,000 green cards to migrants from Muslim-majority countries in the five-year period encompassing 2009 through 2013, according to Department of Homeland Security data.
This Islamic “invasion,” as some are calling it, occurred on the Obama administration’s watch, with plans for 10,000 Syrian Muslims grabbing much of the headlines. But the actual number is many times higher with a refugee program that is rooted in the 1980s and has the support of both parties.
The U.S. has brought in more than 1.5 million Muslims through the refugee program since the passage of the Refugee Act of 1980. They have been coming from Islamic states with active jihadist movements such as Somalia, Bangladesh, Burma, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Bosnia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
To put this five-year tally – 680,000 – in context, it surpasses the total population of Washington, D.C., which is 660,000.
Yet, the Gang of Eight immigration “reform” bill co-sponsored by GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio would have tripled the number of green cards being issued.

The data was released by Sen. Jeff Session, R-Ala., who serves on four Senate committees: Armed Services, Budget, Environment and Public Works, and Judiciary, where he is chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest.
Among those receiving green cards are foreign nationals admitted to the United States as refugees. Within one year, they must apply for lawful permanent resident status, also referred to as a green card, and are placed on a fast track to full citizenship, which is obtainable within five years.
Refugees, which are hand-picked by the United Nations for resettlement in more than 180 U.S. cities and towns, have instant access to federal welfare and entitlements, along with local benefits and education services. These costs are not offset.
The 680,000 number is not an estimate of total migration, as it does not include temporary migrants who return home, nor is it an estimate of population change, as it does not include births or deaths, among other considerations.
There is no official tally of the Muslim population in America because the Census does not track religious affiliation. The estimates range from 2.8 million by Pew Research based on a 2011 study and 7 million as estimated by the Council for American-Islamic Relations.
“Whatever the exact level, it can hardly be considered surprising that as the Muslim population in the country has expanded, so has the incidence of radicalism,” wrote Ian Tuttle in an article for National Review titled “The Troubling Math of Muslim Immigration.”
In fact, many of the recent terrorist attacks on U.S. soil have been carried out by Muslim immigrants, including the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 and the Chattanooga shooting earlier this year.
Sessions’ immigration subcommittee has documented 72 cases of Muslim suspects carrying out attacks or attempted attacks over the past year. He believes all of them are either foreign-born Muslim immigrants or their offspring and has asked the Obama administration to clarify their immigration histories, but the administration has ignored the request.
Rubio’s stance on Muslim immigration
Rubio told Fox News host Sean Hannity earlier this week that he would not use Congress’ power of the purse to shut off funding for the refugee program.

Rubio said he’d prefer Speaker Paul Ryan’s plan, which would allow the Obama administration to continue on its resettlement binge – bringing in 85,000 refugees this year, up from 70,000 annually in recent years.
Obama wants to increase the number of refugees coming to the U.S. to 100,000 in 2017. More than half of these refugees will come from Muslim-dominated countries with active jihadist movements.
Policy is bigger than just Obama administration
Assuming no change in visa policy, the U.S. can expect to give green cards to another 680,000 migrants from these countries over the next five years. A green card entitles recipients to access federal benefits, lifetime residency, work authorization and a direct route to becoming a U.S. citizen.
The numbers could be higher still: Census Bureau data shows migration from the Middle East to be one of the fastest-growing categories. If left in place, Obama’s refugee plan would substantially boost the annual number of migrants from this region admitted to the U.S. who, in turn, would be able to petition for their overseas relatives to join them in America. Refugees and asylees from Iraq, Somalia and Iran alone accounted for 124,000 Muslim immigrants from 2009 through 2013.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the foreign-born population in the United States is at a record 41.3 million. One-quarter of the U.S. population is now either foreign-born or has foreign-born parents.
The Census Bureau projects the percentage of the population born outside the country will soon pass the highest percentage ever recorded and continue rising to new all-time records never before witnessed – unless Congress passes a law to reduce green card allotments.
“Without such changes, the Census Bureau projects that, for each coming year the total number of immigrants in the United States will increase, the annual rate of immigrant admissions will increase, and the foreign-born share of the population will increase,” according to a statement from Sessions office.
“Pew polling data shows that 83 percent of the public (across all parties) opposes this growth baseline and believes the level of immigration should either be frozen or reduced,” Sessions’ statement said. “By a nearly 10-1 margin, Americans of all backgrounds are united in their shared belief that companies with positions to fill should raise wages instead of bringing in new lower-wage labor from abroad. And yet, despite this, the Senate’s Gang of Eight bill would have tripled the issuance of green cards over the next decade, and this year’s I-Squared bill would substantially increase both low-wage guest-worker admissions and green card allotments – all on top of the existing record-breaking and unprecedented growth in future immigration.”
