Beto O’Rourke Was Once an Emo-Punk Rocker! {VIDEO} A Rising Star?

AUSTIN, Texas – Congressman Beto O’Rourke, a former mexican-emo-grunge-rocker who once got his band booked on an evangelical broadcast by pretending to be a new gospel band, needed a hefty upset to win his congressional seat six years ago will have to pull off an even bigger one to unseat powerful Sen. Ted Cruz. He used to play bass and sing in El Paso band, Foss, in the early 1990s.

Here’s a video that explains why he decided to get a day job. O’Rourke wouldn’t confirm that it was him, but anyone who has seen him around El Paso can see he is the one with orange beanie that is playing bass.

Considering what other garbage was out there at the time, I guess it could have been worse, check out more from the band’s MySpace account HERE if you like

A 44-year-old Democrat from the remote West Texas city of El Paso, has advocated for legalizing marijuana and preaches tolerance on the U.S.-Mexico border in massive defiance of President Donald Trump’s “Build that wall” mantra.

The third-term congressman and fluent Spanish speaker is the kind of rising political star Democrats hope can help begin turning deep red Texas blue, aided by a booming Hispanic population and state politics pushed even farther right by Trump and Cruz.

“The Trump factor. He’s the gift that keeps on giving to Democrats in Texas,” said the state’s Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa. “It’s energizing the base and changing the whole dynamics of electoral politics here, and that’s what these two guys see.”

It’s hard to imagine any Democrat taking Texas by storm, much less toppling Cruz, who added to his national stature running for president while remaining popular in most GOP circles back home. A Democrat hasn’t won statewide office in Texas in 23 years, the nation’s longest losing streak by a political party.

Image may contain: 1 person, meme and text

Still, O’Rourke insists Cruz is beatable and there are some positive signs for Democrats, who in November swept down-ballot races in Harris County, which includes Houston and made notable gains in other fast-growing areas. Trump still beat Hillary Clinton in Texas by 9 percentage points — but that was the first time a Republican didn’t carry the state by double digits since 1996.

Overall only 39% of voters in the state approve of the job Cruz is doing, to 48% who disapprove. It was already clear from national polling that Donald Trump had come out ahead in his feud at the GOP convention with Cruz, but we find that even in Texas 52% of Republicans now say that they prefer Trump as their nominee this year to only 38% who would go with Cruz.

When asked about the Trump Administration, O’Rourke said, “I’m very concerned by some of his nominees. Jeff Sessions is a perfect example of someone who in every way is opposed to the promise that immigration and communities like El Paso and Texas hold for the rest of the country.”

“One thing I’ve learned is that very rarely does the moral argument, which is the compelling one for me, persuade anybody. So I try to make the strongest economic argument that immigration is in America’s self-interest. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals beneficiaries, for example, will earn $4 trillion in taxable income over their lifetimes, and I’ve looked at what it would cost to deport them and what it would do to our economy should we lose them.”

“Those are things hopefully I can get Republicans to pay attention to. No state would be hurt more than Texas should we take a draconian turn on immigration enforcement, and it’s hard to imagine a more draconian turn than what we saw during the Obama administration, which deported more people than any previous administration.”

“The opinions of Texans show the extent to which a number of progressive policy goals have reached incredibly mainstream popularity, even in a state as traditionally conservative as Texas.”
• 89% of voters in the state support background checks on all gun purchases, to only 7% who oppose them. They’re supported by 94% of Democrats, 91% of Republicans, and 80% of independents.

Texas is becoming freakishly liberal:

• 83% of voters in the state support barring those on the Terror Watch List from buying guns, to only 10% who are opposed. That’s supported by 85% of Republicans, and 82% of both Democrats and independents.

• Voters in the state support an assault weapons ban, 48/43. That’s because Democrats are far more unified in their support for one (70/21) than Republicans are in their opposition to it (34/55).

• 72% of voters in the state support increasing the minimum wage to at least $10 an hour, compared to only 14% who think it’s fine where it is now, and 11% who would like to eliminate the minimum wage altogether. A minimum wage hike to at least $10 gets support from 94% of Democrats, 74% of independents, and 53% of Republicans.

There was widespread speculation Cruz could face a GOP primary challenge for being slow to endorse Trump last fall — but much of that has faded since Cruz has become a vocal supporter of Trump after November. Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier declined to comment on O’Rourke’s entering the 2018 Senate race.

One way or the other, hopefully the other, let’s just hope he keeps his day job!

Killer Had Numerous Arrests Before “Allegedly” Killing 22 Year Old Police Officer, Never Spent A Day In Prison – America First Network

TECUMSEH, Okla. — A 22-year-old officer and new recruit died Monday morning after a shootout with a man who fled a traffic stop in central Oklahoma, police said.

It was just before midnight on Sunday when Terney pulled Shepard over near Benson Park Road and South Gordon Cooper Drive, an intersection just south of Tecumseh’s town cemetery.

Officer Justin Terney pulled over a vehicle about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Tecumseh, 35 miles southeast of Oklahoma City, according to police. A woman was driving, and Terney called dispatchers to see if a male passenger had any outstanding warrants.

Terney approached asked the male passenger in the car to exit the vehicle, and he started patting him down. When he was doing so, the suspect — who has not yet been identified — ran away from him and headed into the nearby woods.

At that point, the man ran toward some nearby woods, Kidney said. Terney chased the man on foot and used a stun gun, but that failed to stop him. The man then shot at Terney, who returned fire, he said.

From there a shootout ensued. Terney was shot three times and died about nine hours later at a local hospital. Shepard was shot five times but has survived.

Byron Shepard never went to prison despite having been charged with at least 12 felonies or misdemeanors since 2000. Weeks after being charged in yet another crime, Shepard allegedly shot and killed Tecumseh Police Department Officer Justin Terney on Sunday.

How had he avoided prison for so long despite his lengthy criminal record?

When deputies from the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office entered Pam Dodson’s residence, they knew who and what they were looking for.

About $500,000 dollars of equipment had been reported missing from Terrapin Energy Sources, an oil well servicing company out of Morris, a town about a 10-minute drive east of Okmulgee. Authorities suspected Byron Shepard, a former Terrapin employee with a long criminal history.

When deputies arrived at Dodson’s property, they noticed a 1992 red Chevrolet pickup with a bed full of what they believed was property stolen from Terrapin. Dodson told them the truck belonged to Shepard,
who had recently moved in. He had told her he was driving that 25-year-old pickup because the tag was out on his vehicle.

She let the deputies into the home, where they located items whose serial numbers matched up with equipment belonging to the well-servicing company. By the time they left, they had nearly recovered $200,000 of the stolen property.

About a week after deputies had entered Dodson’s residence, Shepard was charged with knowingly concealing stolen property.

It was at least the 12th time he was charged by Oklahoma authorities with a felony or misdemeanor since 2000. Yet he has always managed to avoid prison, records reviewed by The Frontier show.

Sometimes the cases were dismissed. Sometimes he was able to plead a felony down to a misdemeanor and receive a suspended or deferred sentence in place of prison time.

This time would be no different. Despite deputies knowing where Shepard lived and what he drove, court records show he was never arrested after that last charge was filed.

On Sunday, Shepard allegedly shot and killed a rookie Tecumseh police officer named Justin Terney after fleeing on foot from a traffic stop. It was the first death of an on-duty Tecumseh police officer in nearly 90 years, officials there said.

‘A passion for wanting to be an officer’

Terney was described by his coworkers as a dedicated police officer who chose a career in law enforcement early in life.

“He was a very young officer, just getting a start,” they said. “He was taken way too soon.”

“Talking to his dad today, while they were in the family room during surgery, he said he (Terney) chose law enforcement from a really young age,” Terney’s friend, Dillion Degraffenreid, told The Oklahoman earlier this week. “He had always shown a passion for wanting to be an officer.”

After he graduated from high school, Terney pursued his dream of serving the community. He studied at Eastern Oklahoma State College and pursued working for the police force. The school is a community college that offers associate degrees and certification programs. It’s located in Wilburton, Oklahoma and was founded in 1908 as the Oklahoma School of Mines and Metallurgy. Originally, the school focused on mining engineering, but expanded its studies as the years moved along.

Terney obtained his degree and shortly after doing so, got his first job as a police officer for the Tecumseh PD.

Terney’s own Facebook page showed a love for the outdoors, dogs, and for police work.

hannah smith plea

The shooting will likely put an end to nearly two decades of alleged criminal acts by Shepard, who records show was first arrested in 2000 for selling a stolen handgun. Just 19 years old, and with only a 10th-grade education, Shepard eventually pleaded guilty and was given a five-year deferred sentence.

Records show Shepard’s life of crime began with that relatively small-scale infraction. A search of his name in the state’s On Demand Court Records database (ODCR) shows at least 36 traffic infractions, felonies and/or misdemeanors in the 17 years since his first brush with authorities.

And despite a seemingly escalating level of alleged crimes, Shepard only entered Oklahoma Department of Corrections custody once during that time, though he still avoided spending any time in a state prison.

In 2014 Shepard pleaded guilty to not paying child support. Court documents showed he owed more than $60,000 to the mother of his children. He was initially given a five-year deferred sentence, but was arrested again after falling behind on paying fines and costs. He eventually was given a four-year suspended prison sentence.

It’s unclear exactly how Shepard was able to stay out of an Oklahoma prison system that incarcerates people at a rate that outpaces most of the nation.

Most of his alleged crimes took place in Okfuskee County, a county approximately the same size as Oklahoma City, though he also received suspended sentences, or had cases dismissed in Garvin, Hughes, and McIntosh counties.

Two of the cases against Shepard (both domestic violence allegations that were laid out in detail in arrest affidavits,) were dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear in court.

One case ended in probation; two ended in suspended sentences, in which a judge allows a convict to be on probation, which can be revoked if involved in a subsequent crime.

Two more cases ended with Shepard serving a deferred sentence, which allows a convicted person to possibly have the case erased from their criminal record if they meet certain conditions.

Of the seven Okfuskee County cases in which Shepard saw his criminal case resolved through dismissal, suspended sentence, probation or deferred sentence, four involved assistant district attorney Maxey Reilly. District Attorney Max Cook was involved in the other case, a protective order violation.

Six of those cases were at least initially heard in front of Associate District Judge David N. Martin.

Shepard’s rap sheet also includes numerous acts of alleged violence.

In 2005 he was charged with domestic assault and battery after his girlfriend told police Shepard punched her in the stomach as she was holding her four-month old son.

The woman returned to Shepard’s residence days later to take some items with her when Shepard arrived enraged, she told authorities. Prosecutors alleged Shepard grabbed the keys from the ignition of the vehicle the woman was in and threw them in the weeds so she couldn’t leave. He then tried to drag her through the window of the pickup, the woman said.

Shepard entered into domestic violence awareness classes, though he only attended two of the required three sessions. However, court records show the teacher reported that Shepard “accepted responsibility” for what he had done and showed “victim empathy.”

That charge was eventually dropped after the woman failed to appear at court hearings.

Two years later Shepard was arrested again. This time he had a loaded .22 caliber pistol, methamphetamines, and an open bottle of “low point Bud beer,” court records show.

Once again he pleaded guilty and was given a sentence of no prison time, instead receiving a five-year deferred sentence.

Before that conviction was handed down, Shepard was arrested again — this time for pointing a shotgun at a man, woman, and their three children during a dispute. Shepard at first told police the shotgun was unloaded, but eventually admitted it had been loaded during the dispute. He had unloaded it before police arrived, he said.

Shepard eventually pleaded that case down to “reckless handling of a firearm,” a misdemeanor. He was again sentenced only to a term of probation.

His offenses continued to escalate. In 2009 he was charged with kidnapping — a felony — after his girlfriend alleged Shepard had forced her to the ground and held her there during a dispute.

Police also found marijuana and paraphernalia in the apartment. That case was dropped after the woman failed to appear to scheduled court hearings, and records show she and Shepard were married about six months after the incident.

Two years later Shepard was charged with beating a man with a metal baseball bat, a charge to which he pleaded guilty and again received a four-year suspended sentence.

A year later he was charged with threatening to “slice the throat” of the mother of his children, court records show. A witness told police that Shepard reached through the window of a vehicle the woman was in, grabbed a phone from her hands and destroyed it, then said he was going to “kill her and the baby,” and that she “was a dead bitch.”

He once again pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a short probation term. On the probation paperwork Shepard signed, under a section intended to list contacts probation officers can call in case the offender doesn’t report to his probation officer, Shepard listed the victim from the crime for which he had just been sentenced.

That woman later was granted a protective order against Shepard, which he later was charged with violating.

Less than a week later, he was charged with driving under suspension and escaping arrest. While out on bond for that alleged crime, he was charged with the oilfield equipment theft.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said it will assist with crime scene investigation, which is common for police shootings.

Kidney told The Oklahoman that Terney had a new puppy and had hoped to become a canine officer. Terney grew up in Canadian, in eastern Oklahoma, and was also a volunteer firefighter, Kidney said.

Parenting Low: Outsource Your Kids, Hire a Coach to Teach Them to Ride a Bike! The End is Near!

obama bike

Some of today’s upwardly mobile generation doesn’t want to take time to teach their kids the time-honored rite of learning to ride a bike. Another of the ways that parents could bond with their kids and have an experience they could all fondly remember, going down the drain.

Teaching your child to ride a bike is so passé. Sure, you may think it’s your job to teach balancing, pedaling, and breaking, but for some it takes too much of their precious “me time.”

One woman gave the kid a bike with training wheels and just told him to go for it. Eight-year-old Max Goldberg of New York couldn’t quite get the hang of riding his bike, so after two years of training-wheeled trying, his mother stumbled onto a solution.

BICYCLE COACHES, take the dirty job away from them, justified using all kinds of excuses.

Ah, hell. Didn’t want to get to know the kid anyway…

Sure the child might get a skinned knee (HORROR!) or something, but we wouldn’t want the Participation Trophy Generation to suffer such an indignation! It could mar their self-image for life!

Here comes the punchline… Private lessons cost in the neighborhood of $75 to $150, EACH! Where do I sign up to be a coach???

Howard Roth works as a bike coach in Long Island, N.Y., where he “teaches” kids how to master a two-wheeler.

Seriously! I need in on this! I’ll do it for $50 a lesson!

Clinton Adviser: Huma Abedin Wants More Weiner, “Working Hard At It” – Hopes For Change

Image result for anthony weiner huma abedin

Couldn’t possibly be the fact that spouses can refuse to testify against each other in a court of law? “A spouse cannot be compelled to testify against the other spouse.

If they had a formal signed separation that privilege it is gone.

With involvement in many possible upcoming investigations and litigations surely it’s a coincidence, getting back together?

“Huma has been working hard on her relationship with Anthony,” said a source close to the Abedin family. “He has been spending 80 to 90 percent of his time at the Irving Place apartment they share. If there is a disagreement, he goes to his mother’s apartment in Brooklyn.

“Both families are hoping they will reconcile.”

As his wife led Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, even more sexts were uncovered. Last September, the Daily Mail alleged that Weiner had sent X-rated messages to a 15-year-old girl. The next month, Abedin was sucked into the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s e-mails after her then-estranged husband’s laptop was seized.

Despite all of this, the family friend said, the couple is still in love. They blame “the pressures of the campaign and presidential race . . . and him drifting off into obscurity” for Weiner’s most recent relapse, the friend added.

After years of public humiliation by her sext-a-holic husband, Anthony Weiner, 40-year-old Abedin finally separated from the former congressman in August, one day after he had sent another explicit photo, this one showing his toddler son asleep beside him.

Image result for crazy huma abedin

In October 2015, a federal court in Washington, D.C. heard arguments on a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by conservative watchdog organization, Judicial Watch for records related to Abedin. Judicial Watch asked to make Ms. Abedin’s emails and employment records public, requesting details of the arrangement under which Abedin was designated a “special government employee”, allowing her to do outside consulting work while also on the federal payroll.[38][39] On October 6, the State Department said it would be able to hand over 69 pages of emails in response to the FOIA request.[40]

In 2015, emails by Abedin became part of the FBI investigation and the controversy concerning Hillary Clinton’s private email account while Secretary of State,[41][42]resulting in various allegations by Republicans of violations of State Department regulations.[43] Some officials within the intelligence community have stated that potentially-classified information was contained in e-mails from Abedin relating to the 2012 Benghazi attack and its aftermath, which had been sent through Clinton’s private, non-government server.[41][44][45] As of February 2016, 1,818 emails were found containing classified information on the private server; 22 of those were classified as Top Secret. “They were not marked classified at the time they were sent, but they did contain classified information when they were originally sent and received.” Clinton’s aides also sent and received classified information.[46]

On October 28, 2016, the FBI announced that while investigating allegedly illicit text messages from Anthony Weiner to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina, they discovered e-mails related to Clinton’s private server on a laptop computer belonging to Abedin’s husband. FBI Director James Comey said the agency would review the e-mails to see if they contained classified material. Clinton called for the FBI to release its findings as soon as possible.[51] CNN reported: “The Justice Department and FBI officials are working to secure approval that would allow the FBI to conduct a full search of top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s newly discovered emails, sources familiar with the discussions told CNN.” The issue is complex because Abedin shared a computer with Weiner, according to officials, and the case may raise “spousal privilege legal protections” for Abedin since the computer belongs to her husband. In addition, a new search warrant is needed because the existing subpoena relates only to the investigation of Weiner.

The FBI’s New York field office were conducting the Weiner investigation and “stumbled on” the Abedin emails on the computer, which they thought was only Weiner’s, the officials said. They then stopped their work and contacted the team of investigators from FBI headquarters who had handled the probe of Clinton’s private email server. The investigators saw enough of the emails to decide that they seem pertinent to the Clinton server investigation and that they might be emails not seen before. Because they feel they need a warrant specific to Abedin’s emails, officials have not been able to examine them further.

Abedin is cooperating with the investigation, according to Justice Department and FBI officials. Investigators believe that some emails which were deleted from the Clinton server are possibly among those in question, and that they will need to interview Abedin again after examining the emails in Weiner’s computer.[52][53][54][55]

On October 30, 2016, the FBI obtained a search warrant for the Abedin-linked emails related to the probe of Hillary Clinton’s private server that were discovered on Weiner’s laptop. Abedin used the same laptop to send thousands of emails to Clinton, according to NBC sources.[56] On November 6, in a letter to Congress, the FBI said that, after reviewing all of Clinton’s emails from her tenure as Secretary of State, it had not changed its conclusion reached in July exonerating Clinton.[57][58][59]

A lot to cover up, especially if the ex-spouse can testify against her in a bargain to get out from under his own mess. Perhaps a mutual understanding may have been met.

Abedin seems ready to do whatever it takes to emerge from the shadows after years of major career disappointments and personal struggles, including being part of two failed Clinton presidential bids and getting named as one of the “Western Muslims” on an ISIS hit list last April.

A former senior Clinton aide who worked closely with Abedin during the 2016 race told The Post that a shift into the fashion world has been nixed. “I know she has been advised by people in the fashion industry not to do that,” he said.

The former aide confirmed Abedin is now working for Clinton, saying that whether she will be employed by Hillary’s personal office or the Clinton Foundation is moot. “If she’s working on Hillary’s time and schedule and appearances and public positioning, it’s not material who pays the check,” he said.

So, life goes on? I guess we will have to wait and see how it all plays out…

No, President Donald Trump is NOT Cutting Meals On Wheels, Not Even Close! Here’s The Facts…

mow fake stock

Let’s start with the basics. Contrary to fake news reports, President Trump is not eliminating funding for Meals on Wheels. He’s not even cutting it.

How do we know this? Meals on Wheels says so. A statement issued by Meals on Wheels America notes that 35% of the revenues at the 5,000 or so local Meals on Wheels programs come via the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program.

What Trump’s budget does propose is cutting is the corruption-prone Community Development Block Grant program, run out of Housing and Urban Development. Some, but not all, state and local governments use a tiny portion of that grant money, at their own discretion, to “augment funding for Meals on Wheels,” according to the statement.

On 15 March 2017, the web site Occupy Democrats published an article about a blueprint budget released by the Trump administration under the sensationalized title “Trump Just Announced Plan to End ‘Meals on Wheels’ for Seniors.”

The clickbait headline misled many readers into believing that President Trump had specifically proposed to eliminate Meals on Wheels, a service that delivers meals to individuals at home (primarily seniors) who are unable to purchase or prepare meals for themselves.

Most, in fact, “is from corporate and foundation grants, with individual contributions the second largest source.” Local MOW groups do rely much more on federal funding — but it comes from programs that Trump’s budget doesn’t cut.

President Trump’s blueprint budget does not mention or target Meals on Wheels, nor would the adoption of that budget spell the end of Meals on Wheels. Rather, the blueprint contained a section proposing the elimination of funding for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

The Federal Government has spent over $150 billion on this block grant since its inception in 1974, but the program is not well-targeted to the poorest populations and has not demonstrated results..

The Community Development Block Grand Program is used to fund a variety of community projects by providing grants to state and local governments, who then allocate the funds to city programs, of which Meals on Wheels is just one very small part.

Last year, for example, Rockland County, N.Y., sent $25,000 of its CDBG money to its local Meals on Wheels program — which amounted to less than 1% of that program’s budget.

Kennewick, Wash., directed $18,500 in CDBG funds to Senior Life Resources’ Meals on Wheels program in 2015, a year in which the charity got $13.3 million in total government grants.

Fairfield, Calif., gave its local Meals on Wheels $10,539 of CDBG money in 2015, after giving it $0 for the previous four years.

Meals on Wheels of Trenton, N.J., asked for $50,000 in community grant money last year, and got nothing. It received no grant money the year before, either..

According to the Meals on Wheels 2015 annual report, the majority of the national office’s funding (about 84%) comes from individual contributions, while only 3% comes from VARIOUS federal grants such as the CDBG program.

Most, in fact, is from corporate and foundation grants, with individual contributions the second largest source. Local MOW groups do rely much more on federal funding, but it comes from programs that Trump’s budget doesn’t cut.

Although President Trump’s blueprint budget specifically stated that it would eliminate the CDBG, local Meals on Wheels groups would still receive federal funding through the Older Americans Act.

All in all, some local Meals on Wheels groups will likely have to make up revenue shortfalls through alternative sources or cut back on their services if funding cuts are made to the CDBG program and HHS, but the national Meals on Wheels program itself won’t be shut down..

As it turns out, however, this fake budget-cutting story ended up revealing how programs like Meals on Wheels can survive without federal help.

As soon as the story started to spread, donations began pouring into Meals on Wheels. In two days, the charity got more than $100,000 in donations, 50 times more than they’d normally receive. Clearly, individuals are ready, willing and eager to support this program once they perceive a need.

Isn’t this how charity is supposed to work, with people donating their own time, money and resources to causes they feel are important, rather than sitting back and expecting the federal government to do it for them?

RUSSIAN HACK? Vibrator Makers Secretly Tracked Users Activities! Do You Own One? {VIDEO}

brator

The Internet of Things That Can Be Hacked grows daily. Lightbulbs, trucks, and fridges all have computers inside them now, and all have been hacked by someone. But at least you don’t put those inside your body.

The makers of the We-Vibe don’t admit any wrongdoing. But they will pay $3.75 million after allegations that the app was collecting user’s “highly sensitive information.”

Two years ago, someone had the good idea to put a bluetooth connection inside a vibrator, and the We-Vibe 4 Plus was born. The vibrator can connect with a smartphone app that its makers say “allows couples to keep their flame ignited – together or apart”: that is, it can be controlled remotely, while, say, making a video call.

Other vibrator manufactures are also using the vulnerable app, but have yet to be targeted by legal actions. If you own any bluetooth connected device, beware!

Smart Sex Toys Are Great Ways for Hackers to Get in Your Pants

At the Def Con hacking conference in Las Vegas, two independent hackers from New Zealand, who go by the handles goldfisk and follower, revealed that the way the vibrator speaks with its controlling app isn’t really secure at all – making it possible to remotely seize control of the vibrator and activate it at will.

In their talk, Hacking the Internet of Vibrating Things, Follower argued that despite titters at the back of the room, the security of a sex toy should be taken seriously. “The company that makes this vibrator, Standard Innovation: They have over 2 million people using their devices, so what’s at stake is 2 million people.”

“A lot of people in the past have said it’s not really a serious issue,” he added, “but if you come back to the fact that we’re talking about people, unwanted activation of a vibrator is potentially sexual assault.”

Potentially worse still, the pair discovered that the app itself was phoning home, letting the manufacturer discover some very intimate information about users.

And, oh boy, did they collect some sexy details, the Register reported — like what time and how intense you like it and the temperature of the device. They even found the vibration modes you prefer: With the We-Vibe 4 Plus, there are 10 modes, but you can also create your own custom vibe. Your personally blended mix of pulse, wave, wave, pulse, tide, bounce, cha-cha-cha could be in the hands of hackers.

The lawyers for the anonymous plaintiffs contended that the app, “incredibly,” collected users’ email addresses, allowing the company “to link the usage information to specific customer accounts.”

Customers’ email addresses and usage data were transmitted to the company’s Canadian servers, the lawsuit alleges. When a We-Vibe was remotely linked to a partner, the connection was described as “secure,” but some information was also routed through We-Connect and collected, the lawsuit says.

The unhappy users allege in their lawsuit that they never agreed to the collection of this data. Standard Innovations maintains that users “consented to the conduct alleged” — but instead of taking the case to court, the company agreed to settle.

An estimated 300,000 people bought the Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Under the terms of the settlement, anyone who bought an app-enabled vibrator can receive up to $199 dollars; anyone who actually connected it to the app can collect up to $10,000. The actual amount paid out will depend on how many people file claims; the company estimates people who bought the app will get around $40, and people who used the app around $500.

The high-end vibrators cost between $119 and $199, if purchased through the We-Vibe website.

Standard Innovation also agreed to stop collecting users’ email addresses and to update its privacy notice to be clearer about how data is collected.

In a statement, Standard Innovation called the settlement “fair and reasonable.”

Getting off while plugged in? You might want to make sure your hardware is protected.

“The Border Has Come to Kansas” by Sheriff Tim Morse, Not Your Usual Democrat! Must Read and Share!

Not your usual Democrat, Sheriff Tim Morse has a perspective on illegal immigrants that is highly unusual for a man affiliated with that party. I have known him for some years and can vouch that he means what he says. He’s also very driven and dedicated to clearing out the practicing felons and drug connected traffic that seems to come through this area of the midwest on it’s way to the mainstream users.

Rarely a week goes by without seeing headlines such as these:

Two Topeka residents arrested in Jackson County after vehicle chase …

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office investigate Holton drug distribution …

Drug suspect turns himself in to Jackson County Sheriff

Please read this, think about it, share it with your friends, share it with YOUR Sheriff and local law enforcement agencies!  – Les Roediger – The Roediger Report
Posted March 17, 2017 05:59 pm, by Tim Morse, Jackson County, Kansas Sheriff

Sheriff Tim Morse: The border has come to Kansas…

“Growing up in Kansas, right smack dab in the middle of America’s heartland, it felt like the southern border and the many problems associated with it, like illegal immigration, drugs and threats of terrorism − were far away. But because of decades of lax immigration enforcement policies and public officials of both parties who turned a blind eye to illegal immigration, every state in the country has now become a border state. And that includes Kansas.

Today, there are a million or more criminal aliens walking the streets of America. These aren’t just people who entered our nation illegally, but they also committed crimes, many of them violent, against their U.S. citizen or immigrant neighbors. Heroin and methamphetamine continue to pour into the country over the southern border, poisoning the minds of our youths and leading some to an early grave.

As the new administration in Washington vows to crack down on illegal immigration and regain control of the border by building a border wall, it must also focus like a laser beam on putting the nation’s 300 or more dangerous sanctuary cities out of the business of protecting criminal aliens.

Sanctuary cities are those towns, counties or communities that adopt policies, ordinances, resolutions, executive actions or any initiatives that prohibit local officials from inquiring, acting on or reporting an individual’s immigration status – even when there is reasonable suspicion that an individual is in the country illegally.

Many of these sanctuary jurisdictions go so far as to refuse to honor Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers – requests to hold aliens for 48 hours who have committed crimes and should be deported – and instead release those criminals back onto the streets. Between January 1, 2014 and September 30, 2014, sanctuary jurisdictions released 9,295 aliens that ICE had sought to remove. Shockingly, 2,320 of the offenders were re-arrested within that 10 month period.

The very presence of sanctuary laws and practices throughout the U.S. actually serves as a magnet for future illegal immigration, since once illegal immigrants enter a sanctuary jurisdiction, they’re home free. There are an estimated 70,000 illegal immigrants in Kansas alone, costing the state nearly $442 million annually. Stunningly, illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level. The bulk of the costs – some $84 billion – are absorbed by state and local governments.

One of the first lessons learned from 9/11 was that state and local law enforcement and federal law enforcement need to work in tandem with federal immigration officials to form a web of protection for the American public. Surprisingly, two of the 9/11 hijackers with immigration violations had come into direct contact with state and local law enforcement officials just days before the attacks.

Had there been better and more consistent cooperation between federal and local law enforcement when those encounters occurred, we might have prevented the attacks altogether. With a limited number of federal immigration enforcement officials across the country, state and local law enforcement officers are boots on the ground, and should able to serve as force multipliers to assist ICE in targeted immigration enforcement efforts.

I’d also urge the Trump administration to push for federal legislation that shields local police and sheriff’s departments from being sued for assisting in immigration enforcement. I know many sheriffs who’d gladly pitch in if it wasn’t for the fear of watching their communities bear the cost of a lawsuit.

For those who argue we should continue to turn a blind eye to illegal immigration, I’d ask them to think again. We’re seeing increased victimization, especially among illegal immigrant women, some of whom are purchased and then smuggled into the country to live their lives in forced prostitution rings. Local law enforcement is not doing them any favors by ignoring this problem.

The best analogy for border control is the notion of people locking their doors at night. We don’t lock our doors because we lack compassion for the homeless or the poor, we lock our doors because we want to ensure the safety of our families. The same concept applies to our borders. The federal government has the duty to control admissions into the U.S., ensuring only those who will positively contribute to our nation are allowed to enter. Otherwise, we’re setting ourselves up for mayhem.”

Hawaii: No Vetting For Potential Terrorists, But Six Month Quarantine For Your Dog! WTF?

If you travel to Hawaii and you bring a dog, even if the dog is a guide dog for a blind person, it is subject to a six-month quarantine to determine if it is a risk to the citizen’s welfare and safety.

But apparently they have no problem with allowing potential terrorists to enter with no more than a passport and plane ticket.

Trump’s travel related executive order was all set to go, but needed to be revised. Now Judge Watson’s restraining order prohibits the executive order from working as designed, putting American citizens at risk due to lack of extreme vetting. The executive order provides an extra layer of security for travelers and citizens alike, but some democrats and liberals feel as though the extreme vetting is too extreme and causes an inconvenience due to the temporary halt in travel for some people. You know, those “some people” who could be terrorists.

Hawaii claims that the EO violates the Constitution’s protections against religious discrimination, but Hawaii has to go beyond what the EO actually says to support this claim.

On page 40 of its memorandum, Hawaii says, “It is well established that evidence of purpose beyond the face of the challenged law may be considered in evaluating Establishment and Equal Protection Clause claims.”

But the “evidence of purpose beyond the face” of the EO consists primarily of statements President Trump made before he took the oath of office to become the president.

According to Eugene Kontorovich, a Northwestern University law professor, “there is absolutely no precedent for courts looking to a politician’s statements from before he or she took office, let alone campaign promises, to establish any kind of impermissible motive.”

Moreover, the claim that it is a Muslim ban is contradicted by Iraq’s removal from the list because arrangements have been made for the Iraqi government to provide the information needed for effective vetting of Iraqi nationals.

Now they pour in, unvetted. Here comes the good part…

Hawaii State law governs the importation of dogs, cats and other carnivores into Hawaii. Normal quarantine is 180 days at the Animal Quarantine Station (AQS) on Oahu.

120 days! WTF?

They can qualify for the 5-Day or Less Quarantine, with extreme vetting…

  • You must start preparation at least 4 months prior to arrival. Sometimes it is even longer.
  • Your pet must have 2 rabies vaccinations at least 30 days apart.
  • The second rabies vaccination must be given at least 3 months prior to arrival in Hawaii.
  • Your pet must pass a blood test that shows a response to the vaccine. This blood test must be passed at least 4 months before arrival in Hawaii.
  • Your pet must be micro-chipped and dna markered.
  • Due to the minimum requirements, puppies and kittens would be at least 9 months of age before they can qualify for direct release.
  • This includes direct release at the Kahului Airport, if you meet requirements.

And the Governor claims that Trump’s order violates Due Process??

President Donald Trump Announces Sale of California to Mexico – The Art of The Deal

WASHINGTON (AP) – at 12:15pm today President Trump disclosed that he has reached an agreement with Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico, which provides for the sale of substantially all of the State of California to the country of Mexico. President Trump noted that this deal, which he claims “is his YUGEst real estate deal ever” is a win-win for everyone involved.

The two billionaires, who have clashed in the past, set aside their differences and negotiated the deal in which Mexico will pay for the wall, in exchange for the State of California.

One of the benefits Trump says he will highlight, during a prime time address from the oval office later this week, will include using the proceeds received by the US from Mexico to 1) pay for the wall (fulfilling yet another campaign promise), a wall which will now include the length of the eastern border of California, 2) fund all the infrastructure spending in the remaining 49 states and 3) pay to relocate the 67 remaining Republicans that currently reside in California.  Detailed info can be found clicking the Mexifornia image below…

He also noted that Federal money saved from the reduction of California citizens on US social programs will allow those social programs to be cash positive in less than 3 years.

Mexican President Nieto announced that he has already introduced a bill to the Mexican Congress asking to change the name of the acquisition to Mexifornia.

Other benefits President Trump intends to discuss during this evening’s prime time address include:

• Mexifornia will now be able to act as a sanctuary state within Mexico noting that there is much more room for the refugees who will find the climate in the former State of California more desirable than the climate in US cities such as NYC, Detroit or Chicago.

• The elimination of the existing boarder between Mexico and California will allow drugs to flow more freely between Mexico and the users in Hollywood. Drug tunnel diggers at the Tijuana border will now be able to use their skills to dig tunnels under Los Angeles to help ease congestion in that city and allow rioters to move about the city’s universities more freely

• The U.S. taxpayer will no longer be on the hook for any future disaster relief required once the next megaquake hits California.

The space in the Capitol and other DC buildings vacated by representatives of California will be fumigated and turned into “time-out rooms” for the press as well as Liberty Centers where US citizens can meet with their congressmen to discuss the pursuit of economic freedom.

Nancy P. Lousy released a statement stating that she looks forward to making the Mexican President’s life miserable and prefers the year round weather in Mexico City to that of DC. Her office has already announced a schedule of fund raising activities for what is believed to be an upcoming campaign to run for President of Mexico.

Papers released along with Trump’s statement reveal that a newly incorporated real estate company, Pmurt, Inc., which was intimately involved in the deal discussions, will receive a broker fee of $25 billion on the California sale. An anonymous Pmurt, Inc. representative has revealed that the profits on the deal are YUGE and will be used to purchase, develop and convert all abandoned US Federal facilities in California into special high end retreats and resorts which will assist California residents with managing their euphoria and transition into the nanny state they have so long desired to be.

The exact northern border of the new Mexifornia is still under negotiation. Apparently the White House is concerned that certain members of congress may be unwilling to give up California’s wine country and are suggesting that the northern border align with the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge but that Marin County will happily be ceded to Mexico.

Mexifornia residents will be issued special blue cards to cross the border into the US so that the total number of Mexifornia Liberals entering the US can be tracked and at any point in time not exceed predetermined levels. Residents that remain in Mexifornia after the effective date of the sale will not be allowed to seek refugee status in the US in the future.

Mexican President Nieto stated he is thrilled with the deal and is looking forward to declaring Spanish the national language for his newly acquired territory and opening SSL (Spanish as a Second Language) schools throughout Mexifornia. He also noted that funding for the transaction would come from the Mexican drug cartels, which have agreed to provide low interest loans to Mexico so long as they are allowed to move their cash out of Switzerland and the Cayman Islands back into Mexico tax free. He also said he considers the fact that a Disney park will now be located within his country an added bonus.

White House representatives refused to confirm rumors that a similar deal was in the works for the sale of Northeastern states from NY through Maine, to Canada.

President Trump wrapped up his statement stating, “this deal is YUGE and will help Make America, albeit a little smaller, Great Again”.

If you just figured out this is a joke, satire as it is most commonly called, then you aren’t as bad as the morons that are making comments from just reading the headline and going off half-cocked. Give yourself a hand!

But what is happening with the liberal whackos in Cali IS REAL, you can learn more by clicking on the Mexifornia image below…
